Welcome to Shiksha Institute. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, services, and training programs. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Shiksha Institute website, enrolling in our courses, or attending our training programs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

2 Description of Services

Shiksha Institute provides medical coding training and certification preparation programs, including but not limited to:

  • BMCT (Basic Medical Coding Training)
  • CPC (Certified Professional Coder) Training
  • AMCT (Advanced Medical Coding Training)
  • Classroom and Online Training Options
  • Placement Assistance Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time without notice.

3 Enrollment & Registration

To enroll in our courses, you must:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials.
  • Promptly update any changes to your registration information.
  • Be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent.
  • Meet the minimum educational requirements for your chosen course.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4 Fees & Payment Terms

All course fees are clearly communicated at the time of enrollment. Payment terms include:

  • Full payment is required before course commencement unless an installment plan is agreed upon in writing.
  • Installment plans must be adhered to strictly; late payments may result in suspension of services.
  • All fees are non-transferable to another person.
  • Fees are subject to change without prior notice for future enrollments.
  • Additional fees may apply for examination registration, study materials, or certification.

5 Refund & Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Student:

  • Cancellation within 7 days of enrollment: 50% refund of course fee.
  • Cancellation after 7 days of enrollment: No refund.
  • Once the course has commenced, no refunds will be issued.

Cancellation by Institute:

  • Shiksha Institute reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances.
  • In such cases, students will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another batch.

6 Code of Conduct

All students are expected to maintain professional behavior at all times. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Disruptive behavior during classroom or online sessions.
  • Harassment, discrimination, or disrespect toward faculty or fellow students.
  • Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of academic dishonesty.
  • Unauthorized sharing of course materials or recording of sessions.
  • Violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in immediate termination of enrollment without refund.

7 Intellectual Property

All course materials, including but not limited to study guides, presentations, videos, practice exams, and software, are the exclusive property of Shiksha Institute and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute any course materials without written permission.
  • Record, screenshot, or capture any part of the training sessions.
  • Share your login credentials with any third party.
  • Use our materials to create competing products or services.

8 Certification & Exam Policies

Shiksha Institute provides training and preparation for certification exams. Please note:

  • Completion of our training does not guarantee certification or employment.
  • Certification exams are administered by external bodies (e.g., AAPC) and have their own terms and fees.
  • Students must meet the eligibility requirements of the certifying body.
  • Shiksha Institute is not responsible for exam scheduling, results, or certification issuance.
  • A certificate of completion from Shiksha Institute will be provided upon successful completion of course requirements.

9 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shiksha Institute and its affiliates, faculty, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of our services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific course giving rise to the claim.

10 Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your enrollment immediately, without prior notice or refund, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms and Conditions or is harmful to other students, faculty, or the institute.

Upon termination, your right to use our services will cease immediately. You may also terminate your enrollment by providing written notice to us.

11 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
